Clipso

Terms of Use

These terms explain your Clipso license, direct purchase, subscription, updates, and responsibilities.

Effective August 14, 2026macOS software

Who provides Clipso

Clipso is developed and licensed by Artem Svitelskyi, an independent software developer (“Clipso,” “we,” or “us”). Contact: a.svitelskyi@gmail.com. The software website is clipso.uk.

Paddle.com is our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes the order, collects payment and applicable taxes, issues receipts, manages subscription billing, and handles eligible refund requests. Your purchase is also subject to the terms shown by Paddle at checkout.

The Clipso license

After a completed purchase, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Clipso on up to three Macs you control. You may remove an old Mac and activate another through Clipso’s Account settings.

You may not sell, sublicense, rent, share, bypass, tamper with, reverse engineer, or defeat Clipso’s activation, update-signing, anti-fraud, or security controls except where applicable law expressly permits that activity.

Plans and billing

Monthly

The monthly plan includes a one-day free trial and requires a payment method. Unless canceled before the trial ends, it automatically renews at $1.99 USD each month, plus applicable tax, until canceled. Paddle may localize the displayed total for tax and currency.

Lifetime

The lifetime plan is a one-time $19.99 USD payment, plus applicable tax. It provides perpetual access to the purchased major version of Clipso; it does not promise every future paid major version or a particular period of online services.

Current pricing and plan details are shown before you approve payment. If displayed checkout terms conflict with a summary elsewhere on this site, the details you explicitly approve at checkout govern that transaction, subject to mandatory law.

Activation and license checks

A purchase creates an activation code. Clipso stores a device credential in your macOS Keychain and uses a signed offline license lease so the app can continue working temporarily without a network connection. Periodic validation is required. Active, trialing, and temporarily past-due subscriptions can use Clipso; paused, canceled, refunded, charged-back, or otherwise revoked licenses cannot.

If access ends, Clipso stops clipboard capture and licensed actions. It does not intentionally delete your local clipboard history or CloudKit data.

Updates and system requirements

Clipso requires a compatible version of macOS. Direct builds are signed with an Apple Developer ID, notarized by Apple, and use Sparkle for user-approved updates. You control whether to install an offered update. We may change, fix, add, remove, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including for security or platform compatibility.

Your content and acceptable use

You keep ownership of content you copy or store. You are responsible for having the right to use that content and for complying with laws and third-party rights. Do not use Clipso to distribute malware, violate privacy, infringe intellectual property, or access data without authorization.

Availability, warranties, and liability

Clipso is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free sync, recovery of every clip, or compatibility with every app or future macOS release. Keep independent backups of important information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from Clipso is limited to the amount you paid for Clipso in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Clipso at any time and may cancel a monthly subscription through the Paddle customer portal. We may suspend or revoke a license for fraud, chargeback, full approved refund, material breach, or abuse of the activation service. Terms that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue after termination.

Changes and governing rules

We may update these terms for future use of Clipso. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected. Any dispute will be handled under applicable law and the competent courts determined by mandatory conflict-of-law and consumer rules.
