Get Clipso set up, tune clipboard retention, enable auto-paste, and understand what to do when macOS asks for permissions.

Start here

Open Clipso, finish Welcome Setup, choose your history size, set shortcuts, and decide whether you want automatic paste after restoring a card.

If Clipso cannot paste into the previous app, open macOS Privacy & Security and enable Accessibility permission for Clipso.

Use the shelf control or menu-bar action to pause or resume clipboard capture. Pausing stops new items from being saved.

Sync changes apply after Clipso restarts. Upload and download timing is managed by macOS and Apple’s CloudKit services.

Add private apps in Settings so Clipso ignores copies from those applications. Remove an app any time to capture from it again.

Clear Clipboard History from Settings. Clips saved inside custom folders are kept separate and are not deleted by history cleanup.
